The online event, moderated by Arzu Tekir, will cover a wide range of topics, from the future of the automotive industry to agile transformation at Ford Otosan and female leadership.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>About <\/strong><strong>Haydar Yenig\u00fcn<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Haydar Yenig\u00fcn graduated from Y\u0131ld\u0131z Technical University in Mechanical Engineering and joined Ford Otosan in 1987, He found opportunity to serve in many different departments in production and worked as Project engineer between 1992 and 1996 after completing his military duty. He continued serving in different positions during the establishment of the Kocaeli Plant after the shares of Ford Motor Company and Otosan A.S. were equalized in 1997. He became Project Leader in 1998. He participated in the production process of commercial vehicles design and production processes to be built in the new plant. He worked as Body Construction Area Manager in the Kocaeli Plant between 1999 and 2007, and served as Kocaeli Plant Manager and Assistant General Manager from 2007 to 2012. He was appointed as Ford Otosan General Manager and became a Member of the Board of Directors on 15 February 2012. He is currently Chairman of the Automotive Manufacturers Association (OSD). In addition, he is a member of Kocaeli Chamber of Industry Board of Directors, member of Turkish Industry and Business Association and Vice Chairman of the Turkish-American Business Council Executive Committee. In 2020, he became a board member of European Automobile Manufacturers\u2019 Association (ACEA) Board of Directors.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>About Arzu Tekir<\/strong><br><br>Arzu Tekir is the Founder and CEO of Urbanite Venture, a growth consulting firm helping urbantech companies transform cities. She is a business strategist working with the leaders of the cities and organizations to create a positive change. She helps entrepreneurs develop growth strategies and access funding.&nbsp;<br>Arzu has been featured in various media outlets including The Guardian, National Geographic Energy Challenge Blog, Jazeera Magazine, Bloomberg HT TV, and NTV-MSNBC. She is the author of \u201cBlockchain for Smart Cities, Simplified,\u201d and \u201cYour Time is Now &#8211; \u015eimdi Senin Zaman\u0131n.\u201d As a sought-after speaker, she gives talks and moderates discussions on smart and sustainable cities.
